Looking to carve out space for yourself, in yourself? Try this holistic, serene, therapy to balance the flow of energy through the Chakras. Reiki creates a wholesome energy flow which can last for days, helping you to find peace from noise, chatter, pressure, and overwhelm.
Reiki (rei = universe, ki = life force) is an ancient Japanese system of healing by stimulating the body's own natural healing capacity. The effect is an almost immediate soothing effect that dramatically reduces stress levels.
 
It’s based on the principle that living beings have energy fields that support health and vitality. Guided by a trained practitioner, energy blocks are removed, and the innate balanced flow of energy is restored. In Reiki the whole person is treated rather than specific symptoms.

The experience of Reiki is highly individualised. Some say that the practitioner’s hands become hot, others describe cooling hands and some people feel pulsating waves, tingling, or nothing at all. The most common reports are those of relaxation and release. 
 
There is no belief system attached to Reiki, so anyone can receive a Reiki treatment. It’s a space of non-judgment and compassion.

About a Reiki treatment
​• ​ There is no need to remove any clothing for a Reiki treatment.
 
• ​ You will be invited to rest on our comfortable heated massage couch while our therapist gently places their hands non-intrusively in a sequence of positions which cover the whole body. We allow an unhurried hour for each treatment, with each position held for several minutes.
 
• ​ ​If laying is difficult for you, the treatment can also be given in a sitting position. The main thing is for you to be as relaxed as possible - your comfort is our priority.

Cancelling Your Appointment
Real life happens. We understand that on occasion it may be necessary to cancel or reschedule your booking. As a courtesy we ask for a minimum of 48 hours' notice. Refunds are not offered if the booking is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice.
