Indulge in a full-body Ayurvedic warm oil massage with traditional techniques. Tailor your session with either calming, relaxing strokes, or firmer invigorating strokes such as tapping, cupping, rubbing and squeezing.
This treatment is fused with a gentle Chakra balancing massage, and Marma point therapy on vital energy points, where muscle fibres, tendons, ligaments and nerve endings collect throughout the body, helping to unblock channels (Srotas) which in turn can stimulate the detoxification process.
Finally for the 90 minute treatment including Pinda Sweda, traditional, steamed, freshly made herbal cotton poultice bags gently draw out inflammation, ease muscle tension, nourish the skin, and leave you feeling deeply relaxed, refreshed, and revitalised.
Abhyanga is designed to encourage the elimination of Ama (a build-up of toxins) in the system by stimulating the circulation and release of tension. From head to toe, with the option to include the head and face, allow tension and stress to be expertly released, revealing a profound sense of calm, clarity, and balance.
Especially good for individuals with insomnia, anxiety, depression, fatigue, poor circulation, IBS, weight gain, skin conditions, stress, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, stiff joints and general aches and pains.
Hair will be oily after the 90 minute treatment which includes the face and head massage so you may wish to bring an old scarf or hat to cover the head on your journey home.
