What happens during an Indian Head Massage?
Upon arrival, you'll be shown to a peaceful treatment room, where you'll remain seated and appropriately covered with a towel throughout. Most clients choose to remove their tops for comfort, but this is entirely up to you.
Your session will then begin with flowing strokes across your shoulders and upper back to release tension and calm the body.
From there, the massage gradually moves through the upper arms, neck, face, scalp, ears and temples, using circular motions, gentle stretches, and pressure techniques to ease tightness and boost circulation.
Many people find the experience deeply soothing, often entering a meditative state that helps quiet the mind and restore emotional balance. Sessions typically last around 30 to 45 minutes.

Indian Head Massage FAQs:
Q - Do I need to lie down for this massage?
A - No, you don’t. Indian Head Massage is carried out with you seated comfortably in a chair, and a towel is used to keep you covered during the session. Oils are optional.
Q – Can it help with head or neck discomfort?
A – The techniques used target common areas of tightness, helping to ease built-up pressure and encourage muscle release.
Q – Will my hair get oily?
A – Only if you choose to have oils used. Dry massage techniques are equally effective and just as relaxing.
Q – Are there any after-effects?
A – You might feel calm or sleepy afterwards. If so, you just need to drink plenty of water and take it easy for a few hours.
Q – When should I avoid Indian Head Massage?
A – As amazing as the treatment is, it’s not for everyone. If you’re pregnant, have had a recent head or neck injury, have a severe scalp condition, a history of thrombosis or embolism, or an active infection or fever, it might not be right for you.
